Education and Whole-Person Development
The school adopts a "whole-school participation" approach to support students' growth. All teaching staff share a common belief in cultivating good character, fostering a culture of care and inclusiveness, and implementing holistic education. Through diverse learning experiences, students' potential is inspired, and efforts are made to cultivate positive values, promoting the image of students as individuals who exhibit courtesy, self-discipline, self-respect, and care for others.
Integration of Guidance and Education, Putting People First
The school implements comprehensive guidance and counseling work with a focus on putting people first. At the school, grade, class, and individual levels, key areas of whole-school participation in guidance work are determined. Developmental and preventive guidance activities are conducted to assist students in facing various challenges in their growth.
- Each grade has a grade guidance teacher who supports teachers at various levels in handling guidance work and student issues.
- The "Making Amends Program" provides students with an opportunity to make amends and engage in community service in response to disciplinary issues, giving them a chance to reform and start anew.
- The "Diligence and Reward Program" rewards students who meet specific standards in "completing homework," "silent reading," and "examinations," encouraging their persistent efforts.
- The "Teacher-Student Mentor x Buddy Program" provides individual support to capable students in after-school hours through small group activities at each grade level, catering to learning differences and enhancing students' individual potential.
- Through training in fifteen areas, such as discipline, ambassadors, flag-raising team, and environmental ambassadors, students are nurtured to serve others with a spirit of service.
